yes, they dont have to be quick about what they do, if they're rude, or they are slow, well dont, but otherwise...they dont have to do their job well.

yes, they work hard too, the carry out people usually get more per hour but only a couple of bucks, so they depend on the tips too. Most eating establishments rotate the carry out shift to keep from giving someone the shaft. Would you want to be tipped if you had kids to raise? That is what everyone should ask themselves, especially if the service is good. If you are a regular at a place like Sonic, how can you complain if you don't tip, can you imagine what the servers think of you. And please, don't even think of leaving a couple of coins, that's insulting, just like you meant it to be if you do that on a regular basis. Treat others................. it really does come around.

IF IT'S THE ONLY WAY TO GET YOUR FOOD AND THERE IS NO DRIVE THRU, THEN IT'S YOUR CHOICE WHETHER YOU DO OUR NOT BECAUSE THEY DON'T GIVE YOU A CHOICE. BUT IF THE SERVICE IS GOOD THEN IT'S ALWAYS NICE TO GIVE SOME TYPE OF TIP, NOT LIKE YOU WOULD AT A SIT DOWN RESTAURANT.

Assuming you're at a Ruby Tuesdays or similar place, I think 5% of bill, especially if they've gone back in for sauces, napkins, etc. would be appreciated. After all, they probably packed the bags.
